My name is Casey. Nice to meet you.

I've been working in Real Estate, full time, since 2009. Prior to that I worked for CDC IXIS Asset Management, Royal Bank of Canada, Countrywide, and Bank of America. This is where my background and understanding of Banking and Finance comes from.  It also shaped my approach, analysis, and view of Real Estate.

I was born and raised on Cape Cod. For a number of years I lived in Boston where I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University.  That's where I met my wife, Candace. After graduation I began working in Boston for a financial services company. I think everyone in Finance gets the itch to move to NYC, I got it, I scratched it. After a decade of living in Manhattan, I was given the opportunity to move down to Miami and work with Mortgage Backed Securities. Once that bubble popped I thought I was heading back up north to NYC and back to my old job. Then fate intervened. A former bond client of mine was starting a distressed asset real estate fund. They convinced me to stay down here, get my Real Estate License, and represent them in the State of Florida. By the time a bottom was formed in the Real Estate market I had taken a $40 million residential portfolio of distressed notes from the courthouse through resale. I represented Fannie Mae, every major bank, a number of private equity funds, and publicly traded REIT’s on the listing and portfolio swap out sides. I have a ton of stories to tell from that era!

On the residential side I’ve represented a broad range of clients including NFL, NBA, WWE atheletes, Family Offices, and a whole lot of good people.

Candace and I lived in Fort Lauderdale for a decade. We have 2 dogs, both rescues from the Caribbean. We have a daughter, who at the time of this writing is 5 years old. As much as we know and love Fort Lauderdale, we built a house from the ground up in Jupiter. While we’re moving up north, my business will largely remain focused in Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area.
